Liberty League announces weekly award winners for Jan. 23
The Liberty League announced that 18 student-athletes in seven different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of Jan. 16-22. University of Rochester senior Ryosei Kobayashi earned Performer of the Week honors in men's squash after recording three victories in a 3-0 week for the Yellowjackets. In a 5-4 victory over top-ranked Trinity, Kobayashi rallied from a 0-2 deficit to win 8-11, 7-11, 11-6, 11-8, 11-8 at the No. 1 position to clinch the victory for Rochester.
